Leadership is defined by the impact we have on people.
From valet to leader.
My leadership journey began behind the wheel as a valet parking attendant. What started as a job to help pay the bills while pursuing a dream opened doors I could never have anticipated.
Today, as a Regional Vice President at LAZ Parking—a people-first company grounded in Conscious Capitalism—I help lead thousands of employees while building teams and operations across Southern California. That culture reflects a belief at the heart of my own leadership: every person deserves the chance to grow, and every leader has the chance to help.
I started Morning MOJO during the early days of COVID to help my team find connection, perspective, and purpose in an uncertain time. Over six years, those messages grew into a companywide tradition, reaching thousands of people inside and outside LAZ. This book carries that spirit forward, sharing lessons on leadership, resilience, happiness, and gratitude—with the hope that you’ll find something that changes how you see a challenge, how you show up for someone, or how you appreciate the moments that matter most.
